This policy covers both Swiing (the PGA Tour leaderboard app) and Swiing GPS (the on-course rangefinder app), together “the apps.” Both apps are published by Black’s Apps.

What we collect

• Sign in with Apple: if you sign in, we receive an opaque Apple-issued user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email. We use this only to keep your account in sync between the two apps and across devices.
• Push notifications: if you opt in, your device’s Apple Push Notification token is stored on our servers so we can deliver leaderboard alerts and Live Activities. The token is keyed to your account; we do not associate it with any other personal data.
• Privacy-respecting analytics: we use Plausible, a cookie-free analytics product that records anonymous pageviews of this website. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal data. No analytics SDK is shipped inside the apps themselves.

What we do not collect

• We do not show ads. We do not work with advertising networks, attribution SDKs, or data brokers.
• We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
• We do not collect your contacts, photos, microphone, or location data unless a specific feature you’ve enabled requires it (e.g. Swiing GPS uses your location only while the app is open, and it stays on your device).
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Sharing your account between the two apps

If you sign in on one app, you’re signed in on both. This is implemented locally on your device using Apple’s shared-credential mechanisms; no extra data is sent to our servers because of it.

Data we hold on our servers

• Your account record (Apple ID identifier, plus optional name/email if you shared them).
• Your push notification token, if you opted in.
• Your favourited players and similar small preferences, so they’re available on every device you sign in on.

We use Supabase as our backend provider, hosted in the European Union.

Children

The apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your account and all data associated with it at any time. Email support@swiing-app.com from the email associated with your account.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a material way, we’ll update the date above and call out the change at the top.
